Missionaries We Support

Cross Road Assembly has a heart for those who work in Missions! We believe in the mandate Jesus gave us in Mark 16:15; "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation". Therefore, we currently support eight Missionaries who work in other countries as well as the USA! We are always looking to expand our missions giving as the need arises, and as God directs!

The following are the mission areas we currently support on a monthly basis:

STATE SIDE:

• NEW HOPE ACADEMY is a ministry arm of Teen Challenge Training Center in Factoryville, PA. It is a residential facility for boys ages 13 to 17 that believes in giving second chances to boys whose lives have been affected by life-controlling issues. • SCRANTON WILKES_BARRE YOUTH FOR CHRIST has been impacting the youth in our area for many years as Jerry Major takes the message of the Gospel into schools all over the area. You can find out more about this life changing program by visiting www.swbyfc.org.
• SPEED THE LIGHT is the way teens can contribute to missions.  The monies the youth raise go toward the transportation needs of foreign and home missions.  Any type of transportation, from mules and mopeds, to bicycles and vans, are purchased for missionaries with STL funds.    www.speedthelight.ag.org
  

FOREIGN MISSIONS:

• MISSIONARY VENTURES is an organization that sends missionaries all over the world. Currently, our own Paul and Sheryl Beldele are receiving support from Missionary Ventures while they are in Argentina. You can learn more about Missionary Ventures by visiting their website: www.mvi.org.
• HIMALAYA CRUSADE is serving the Lord in West Bengal State in India. It is lead by Ruth Sodemba. Learn more about them on their website: www.christianaid.org.
• HAIN CHURCH SCHOOL  is a church school and literature center located just one block north of the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem.

• We at CRA are currently raising funds to send with Brian Butler as he goes on a missions trip to Haiti.  He will be helping John Hanson re-build part of the compound that was destroyed by the January 12th earthquake in Port-au-Prince.  If you are interested in donating to this project, please mail your donation to the church at; P.O.
